Fiberstars introduces the Freedom Switch a wireless remote that adds convenience to existing and new construction pool and spa lights at a very economical price. As a retrofit, the Freedom Switch replaces the cover of either an American Products or ThermalCraft junction box. The larger Freedom Switch cover includes a wireless receiver and switch. Instead of wire nutting the cord to the wires, they are joined at the switch. Simple.

There are literally thousands of pools with electrical toggle switches for the pool and spa lights installed at the equipment pad, just below the electrical panel. Thousands more have their on-off switch in some other obscure and inconvenient location. In either case, the pool owner probably does not make full use of the pool and spa lights because they have to stumble in the dark corners of the yard to turn them on. This may even be the reason why the home owner has not upgraded to LED or other new colored light technology. If offered at a reasonable price, convenient light switching is an easy upgrade for older pools. The Freedom Switch puts wireless remote light control within the budget of most pool owners.
